MacShark sightings up 65% in 4 years

Scotland is fast becoming a hotspot for shark sightings, according to a new report from the Marine Conservation Society.

Reports of sightings of basking sharks have soared by 65% in just four years, with global warming blamed for making sharks venture further north in the British Isles. There is a corresponding drop in sightings for the south.
