Between the columns of the first pillar a large group of bass and mullets swim around. Amazing that most (all ?) divers do not see them in the murky water as they do not look up to see what else is there. Spend a lot of time looking at them at real close distance.
Read MoreDue to tropical temperatures for a number of days, the water lights up strongly due to the algea. Normal nightdive in the Grevelingen with lobsters, eel and surprisingly a five thread rockling. Never saw that one before.

people go there to have picnic on their boats and swim.

Read MoreSteady dive exploring the dredger and small planes. One sea snake that followed Ben around. Also, whales had been spotted in the morning but none on our trip. Not as much to see as yesterday. BUT, big bat fish, large schools fo fish with plenty of big grouper.
Read MoreBeautiful coral bommie. Excellent range of soft corals with some small reef fish life. No as much interesting fish life but nice dive all the same.
