Saw two skates and a moon snail. This amount of weight was perfect for the dry suit and light thermal underware

We were amazed at the lack of marine life and variety compared to exactly one year ago when here. Very few fish, and variety very diminshed. Saw only 4 butterfly fish, 3 wrasse.. compared to many many one year ago. Very few angelfish of any variety. Do not know what has contributed to the decline, but very sad.

Exciting site as 150m wall, non-existent in UAE, and covered in stunning coral. Immediately saw 3 devil manta rays. Also giant barracuda, large shoal of yellow tail barracuda and black-tip sharks.

Challenging dive but good for experience. Site was in shade as sun behind mountain so vis poor. At the headland there was a very strong down current (to 50m). We managed to make our way back gripping the coral and avoiding the stonefish but it was nerve-wracking. The girl who has been described as having gills, guzzled air.

Really excellent dive site for hammerheads, barracudas, jacks, turtles, white tips reef sharks. Slight to medium current.
