Dropped of the boat and decended to a sandy bottom. Viz not great and not a lot to see at first. The saw an eagle ray – swam right under us. The latter part of the dive was much better through a nice coral garden – with morays, turtle and lots of reef fish.

Dropped of the North side of the island. Viz was worse than the morning – a lot of debris in the water – probably from the big storm out in the Indian Ocean. Saw 3 turtles and lots of lobster. Nice coral wall – easy dive!

Sheer Wall then coral gardens. Saw 3 turltles lots of cuttlefish and morays. Lots of reef fish and another diver spotted 3 squid.

Very nice dive with turtles, morays and 12 cuttlefish – together. Nice coral. Lots of discarded fishing nets and some in use. Mohammed destroyed one completely! Slight current but came up right next to the boat.

Back to centre again and the viz was pretty poor. Barely 5m and not much to see at first. Got a bit better and saw 2 turtles. Mohammed – our dive leader – chased one and broke off some coral in the process! Very dissapointing. OK dive though. A bit rough getting back on boat.

Not good viz. Mohammed – our dive leader – rode a turtle again – really must say something!! Lots of reef fish and nice dive – but i was cold brrrrr!

Dived with 4 girls from Dhubai (came up for the day). Followed a wall (right shoulder), lots of reef fish, morays and lionfish. Saw a free swimming moray.

First dive in the Daymaniyat Islands. Lots of cuttlefish, turtles and groupers. 2 amazing huge rays and a nudibranch.
